Having graduated from High School in 1978, Massimo Guerrieri went on to the University of Medicine in Pisa, Italy, taking numerous courses in histology, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, biology, physiology, pharmacology, human anatomy, and medical pathology.
In 1982, he joined his family business, Manifatture Toscane in Lucca to head the boys and girls fashion sector.
In late 1986, he took his first marketing course in Milan and in March 1987, started working in the advertising field. |

In June 1988, opened with his wife Annalisa, their first “weight loss institute” in Lucca. After several years of operating, they opened a second institute in Florence in 1992. Both are still in business today.
In December 1993 he completed a 3-years, 1800-hour course, in aesthetics to get his license.
In October 1994, he earned his professional license in Advertising and in May 1995, he received his Masters in Science in Marketing Management.
In 1997 Guerrieris started with their own Trademark: New York Slim Center – VivinLinea ProgramTM in Florence, Italy.
During the period from 1996-1999, Massimo Guerrieri investigated the possibility of "exporting" their knowledge and expertise to USA.
In September 1999, he and his wife Annalisa, together with their children Michael and Nicholas, moved to New York; and in May 2000, opened their first VivinLinea Health & Slimming Spa in Great Neck, N.Y.
In October 2004 they celebrated their 5th Anniversary Gala Event with the kick off of Unique SYNTHESIS Body Reshaping Programs.
Massimo with Annalisa are the founders of SYNTHESIS. They are the pioneers in this field in Italy, as well as, in USA today.
Annalisa graduated from High School in 1978 and went on to take various University exams, such as: in histology, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, biology, physiology, pharmacology, and human anatomy.
In March of 1982, she joined her husband Massimo Guerrieri in his family business, Manifatture Toscane--Lucca, to manage the fashion sector for boys and girls.
In July 1988 she completed a 3-years, 1800-hour course, in aesthetics.
After the grand opening of the first “weight loss institute” in Lucca, in June 1988, she started working for an Italian-French Franchisor as a freelance helping to organize their training school. During the period from 1989 to 1991, she oversaw the opening of more than 85 institutes in Italy and in Europe and directed training for the franchise owners and employees.
In 1992 she joined her husband, Massimo Guerrieri to open a second “weight loss institute” in Florence.
In 1996, she finished her three-year studies in psychology at the European Institute of Technology of San Marino.
In 1997 Guerrieris started with their own Trademark: New York Slim Center – VivinLinea ProgramTM in Florence, Italy.
